Tre Side Table
Designed for OneUp Innovations - 2026
The objective of the product was to design a multipurpose table. Capable of functioning as both a table and occasional seating. Designed for indoor and outdoor use the Tre side table takes inspiration from japandi styles to fit a niche in the young adult demographic.
Design strategy, cost analysis
hard ceiling: total cost to produce under $50. Every design decision, material choice, joinery, part count, finish, had to be weighed against that number without the piece reading as cheap. The goal was to strip the design down to its essential form, using simple construction and minimal materials to hit an aggressive cost target while still feeling considered and durable enough for everyday use.
